Free CNA Training in Texas

Becoming a nursing assistant in is an admiral goal, and in the state of Texas, training for young people from the ages of 16 to 24 is available through the Job Corps at no cost. Other options are available in Texas for free or low cost training, especially through hospitals and nursing homes. To learn which locations offer free training in Texas, check first with one of several Job Corps offices throughout the state or with residential care facilities in your area.

You can also get on job training since sometimes nursing homes and hospitals usually have vacancies and are willing to train individuals if they agree to work for that institute for a specific time period, this would be a great way to begin your career as a CNA since not only would you be studying for free but you would also have a job during the study period and after you finish as well. Comfort Keepers are looking for individuals who are looking to work as a CNA in their facilities. Working hours are flexible and they will also pay for your tuition to become a CNA. Minimum requirements constitutes that you are a US citizen, driver’s license. You will be required to send in an up-to-date resume of yourself for consideration and they will perform a background check to see if you have any prior misconduct. Free CNA Training through Nursing Homes:

As mentioned above nursing homes have a tendency to hire individuals and then send them through proper training so that they can work for that institute in a manner and culture that they approve of. You should try and contact near-by nursing homes to see if they have a vacancy and are willing to provide you with training in return for working there. TVCC offers Certified Nurse Aide classes through Continuing Education and Adult Education academic preparation classes for as well as combined academic Adult Education and vocational CNA instruction. Students will learn the vocational skills required for CNA licensure and the academic skills required. There is no charge for the Adult Education portion of the training. The charge for the skills portion of the class is $196. The student is eligible for employment after successful completion of the first 16 hours of instruction. The complete training will consist of 107 hours of instruction of classroom training, a Medical Career and Adult Education Orientation Class, skills practice, clinical experience, and testing.
