Free LPN Training in North Carolina

You should pursue a career as an LPN if that is your dream even if you are concerned about the cost to becoming a nurse. There are ways to obtain free LPN training and/or to help reduce the cost of an LPN diploma or degree program in North Carolina. In fact, LPN students in North Carolina can apply for the Nurse Educational Scholarship – Loan Program. This program helps students pay for their training reducing the stress of receiving their education. The loan does not need to be paid back in cash but rather an individual can opt to pay back their loan through nursing service as specified by the terms of the loan. This is just one of dozens of ways to help pay for the cost of LPN training.

Some individuals receive tuition reimbursement from an employer. They will work as a nurse for that company for a while and as a result will have resulted help paying for their nursing courses.  Some students can receive help paying for LPN training as a result of having served in the armed forces.  Others apply for financial assistance offered by the college or university they are attending.  And most students can receive some level of help from state and federal grant programs.
