Contact your employer or your parent’s employer (if you are still a dependent of your parents) if you are looking for ways to help you receive free LPN training in Kentucky. Scholarships can go a long way in helping you to afford to become a practical nurse. Many employers offer scholarships for which employees can apply. These scholarships are sometimes in addition to financial assistance programs that some companies offer to their employees. Employers for your parents might also have scholarship programs for children of those who are employed. This is not something to be overlooked when you are working to find ways to pay for your college.
Some employers will provide tuition reimbursement programs. They will pay for a percentage of your training to start a new career. They will not usually pay for classes if they are not related to your new area of study. Although they often do not pay 100% for the training, they will sometimes pay enough that you can then cover the rest with financial aid or other financial assistance that you receive. This can be a big help when you are looking to become a licensed practical nurse but if you are not sure how to pay for this.
