There are many scholarships available to help you attain your goal of becoming an LPN especially in the state of Alabama. You can receive free LPN training if you receive enough scholarships funds. One scholarship for which you can apply is the Tylenol FutureCare Scholarship.  This is a scholarship sponsored by Tylenol for students who are going to work to complete degrees and training in healthcare fields including licensed practical nurses.  The next scholarship opportunity will be for the 2013 school year as the 2012 deadline has passed to provide Tylenol with time to award scholarships for the upcoming year. Of course, there are many other scholarships sponsored by large companies in addition to community based organizations and even individuals.

If you have any amount of college expenses for which you have not received scholarships or other forms of financial aid, you can apply for student loans.
