Free LPN Training in Virginia

If you are a high school student who has already decided to opt for a career as an LPN, you have the opportunity to receive free LPN training in Virginia. For instance, the Lee County Career and Technical Center located in Ben Hur Virginia, offers an LPN program to vocational high school students. If you attend this program you will attend LPN classes part-time and will also receive the coursework needed to obtain your high school diploma. You will then spend nine months completing clinical experience, but this is not done until after you graduate high school. It is certainly possible to search for other career and technical high school programs in Virginia to determine if there are any in your local area offering an LPN degree.

Of course, this is not an option for you if you are not a high school student. In this case, you should apply for financial assistance in terms of grants and scholarships. There are typically state based grants and scholarships in addition to federal grants. Private sponsors also give out a range of scholarships to student each year.  Do not be discouraged by LPN program prices as you can find ways to lower the cost and in some cases you can even cover all of the tuition.
